Recently, we have been hearing rumors of their divorce. It all started last month when the couple were spotted coming separately at the funeral of their colleague from Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

However, when asked for their separate arrival at the memorial ceremony, Mendez and his wife Jonna spoke of having an appointment with the doctor. The couple revealed that Mendez has been battling Parkinson’s disease and suffering for years.

We hope that Mendez takes good care of himself and the couple may spend rest of their lives together with love and happiness.

Since after the retirement from the CIA in 1990, Mendez and his wife Jonna served on the Board of Directors for the International Spy Museum.

Tony Mendez currently works as an artist and author.
