An American Actress Carrie Fisher, Death on December 27, 2016; Disclose About her Family Members

"Marcus Tullius Cicero" meaning "The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living." The above quote defines the life of Carrie Fisher who died but has always been alive in the heart of her true fans and followers. She is the most renowned actress who has been nominated twice for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.

Carrie Fisher Death

Life is uncertain, being human we must be able to bridge the gap between life and death. Fisher was at The Graham Norton Show after completing the European leg of her book, her last TV appearance. She was busy in recording just before four days of her death. In 2016, she was on a commercial flight from London to Los Angeles when she suffered a medical emergency just fifteen minutes before the aircraft.

A passenger near her reported that she had stopped breathing. Emergency services were contacted and Fisher was taken by ambulance to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and was placed on a ventilator. Following four days in incentive care at UCLA Medical center she died on December 27, 2016, at the age of 60.

In 2017, the Los Angeles Department of Public Health issued a death certificate where they stated cardiac arrest as the main cause of the death.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office further added, the main cause of death is yet to be determined but sleep apnea and the buildup of fatty tissue on the wall of arteries is also one of the determining factors. Further, a full report stated that she had a traces of heroin, cocaine, and MDMA in her system.

Carrie Fisher Family Members

The proficient actress, Carrie Fisher was born to Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher. Her mother Debbie was also an American actress, businesswoman, film historian, and humanitarian. Her father Eddie was the most successful pop singles artist during 1950s.

Her parents were divorced when she was small as her father wanted to marry Reynolds best friend, Elizabeth Taylor. She has two sisters named Joely Fisher and Tricia Leigh Fisher. She has a brother, Todd Fisher.

Fisher was living a blissful married life with her husband, Paul Simon for just a year. A year after their marriage in 1984 they were divorced. Then from 1991 to 1994, Fisher was in a relationship with Bryan Lourd. They were blessed with a daughter, Billie Lourd.

After the death of Fisher, her daughter Billie stated that she was fighting with mental illness due to the overuse of drugs. The day after her death, her mother, Debbie Reynolds struggled a stroke at the home of Todd Fisher, her son. According to E!News spoken by Todd Fisher, his mother has said

Together with Carrie her mother, Debbie also died in December 28, 2016 due to stroke. Fisher and Debbie were honored at joint funeral. In 2017 after a private memorial for Fisher her ashes were laid to rest beside Reynolds in a crypt at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills. Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher have been laid to rest together.

The actress families and friends which include famous celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Meg Ryan, George Lucas, Jamie Lee and Meryl Streep gathered together at Carrie’s home for a joint memorial service.
