Mark Anthony Steines is an American Journalist, anchor and an actor. He hosted a show called ‘Entertainment Tonight’ from 2004 to 2012. Currently, he hosts alongside Cristina Ferrare in a show entitled ‘The Home and Family Show’ that airs on Hallmark Channel.

In ‘Entertainment Tonight (ET)’, he interviewed most of A-List actors and producers. Apart from hosting and anchoring, Steines has also received excellent reviews as a photographer. In 1995, Mark was married to 1993 Miss America Leanza Cornett; however, after 17 years of marriage, they had to tear the marriage down. Together, they have 2 sons.

Education

Steines completed his graduation from Hempstead High School in Dubuque, Iowa. Later, he joined the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls on a full football scholarship and completing it with a B.A. in television and Radio. Then, Mark attended ‘The Groundlings (the renowned school of improve)’ in order to study comedy. He earned his degree from DW Brown Acting Studio’s Meisner Technique training. At Kalmenson Voice Over School, he got his voice skills trained.

Career

Speaking of his career, he is a host at ‘Home and Family’ alongside Cristina Ferrare. Before his success, Steines worked at KWWl-TV in Waterloo, Iowa; right after his graduation. Next, he moved to KSPR in Springfield, Missouri. Over there; he was a sports anchor until 1991 and it led him to Los Angeles, California and ESPN later on. In 1995, he became a substitute anchor for ‘Entertainment Tonight’; and in September 2010, he was selected as a co-host for ET weekend on a regular basis.

Furthermore, he also hosted AOL’s online reality TV show called ‘Gold Rush’ in 2006 Fall. In order to pursue more opportunities in life, he left ET on July 27th, 2012; after 17 years of work there. Starting in 2017, Mark will be taking over as a host of KTLA’s ‘Tournament of Roses Parade’. And moreover, he is also a personality who has competed in Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race 4 times at the Long Beach Grand Prix.

Among his artwork, ‘See The Light: A Passage to Sierra Leone’ is the most popular one. It reflects the Light House Medical Mission’s trip to promote awareness for fresh water. And in the spring of 2015, he photographed for Boot Campaign’s patriotic image of more than 30 celebrities.

Personal Life

Steines was born on June 7th, 1964 in Dubuque, Iowa, United States of America and he has an older brother named Mike. Speaking of his marriage, Mark married a former ET correspondent and Miss America 1993; Leanza Cornett, on July 22nd, 1995, on the island of Kauai. Together they have two sons named Kai harper and Avery James (AJ). However, they had to file a divorce in January 2013; after 17 years of marriage. Currently, he resides in Los Angeles along with his sons and Fred (Golden Retriever).
