Actress Kimberly Elise's potential boyfriends might need her daughters' approval before they start dating

Just getting a date with Kimberly Elise is very tough, even for famous movie stars! She is very selective and she rarely dates someone outside of her acquaintances. And on top of all that, she has recently disclosed that anyone looking to date her also needs approval from her children.

“One of my daughters is only 17. That is a very impressionable age. I should set a good example for her to look at. That’s what my mother did to me and that’s what I am going to do for my daughters”, the actress reportedly said. The actress has been looking after her children alone for nearly 10 years now.

Kimberly has two daughters, Aja and Butterfly Oldham from her marriage with Maurice Oldham. Kimberly has been looking after her children alone after the death of her husband. He died of a ‘massive blood clot’. She is extremely close with her daughters and wants to raise her daughters right. Hence, she will not be dating somebody who could have a negative influence in their upbringing.
