Actor Toni Collette’s husband Dave Glalfassi is worried about her extreme weight loss and plastic surgery!!

Reportedly, ‘The sixth sense’s actress seems to have been taken in by Hollywood’s harsh expectations regarding body size. She has been spotted with a troublingly thin figure and her husband Dave doesn’t seem to be comfortable with it.

Recently, Collette was seen interacting with the photographers, dressed in a black at a New York after-party for her play The Realistic Joneses. But, her tiny figure got a few tongues wagging, especially among the industry commentators.

The renowned actress, who is known to have gained some weight for her role as Muriel in Muriel’s Wedding, has admitted about her struggle with bulimia in her early 20s.

She was hospitalized at 24, when the eating disorder prompted a panic attack.

“I thought I was dying,” she told the New York Times.

“It was an essential wake-up call. I can’t believe I went through that. I feel like it’s a totally different life.”

It has been nearly two decades since. But Collette’s recent weight loss is again raising concern, and some are left wondering if the Australian star has taken her new yoga regimen way too far.

Collette has certainly slimmed down since her last major red carpet appearances in September of last year at the Toronto Film Festival, when she wowed onlookers.

Colette has been married to her musician husband, Dave Galafassi, for over ten years. The happy couple have two children together – Sage and Arlo.

Dave is also an actor and is known for his 2013 movie ‘Lucky Them’. He and his wife are in the band, "Finish", where she is the singer and he is the drummer.

This 33 year old actress has played in various Hollywood movies. Collette began her acting career in the early 1990s. Some of her best known roles were in movies such as Spotswood (1992) and Muriel's Wedding (1994). Colette was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in the Best Actress category for her role in Muriel. She achieved international fame for portraying the character of of Lynn Sear in the movie The Sixth Sense (1999) which earned her an Academy Award nomination. She was also nominated for the Tony Award when she made her Broadway debut in the musical The Wild Party where she played the leading role.

In the 2000s, her roles in independent features like, About a Boy (2002), and Little Miss Sunshine (2006) earned her a lot of critical admiration. She won several critics' awards for About a Boy and the movie was even nominated for a BAFTA Award. Little Miss Sunshine, on the other hand, earned her a Screen Actors Guild Award, her second Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations.

Collette is a huge supporter of animal rights and often works with PETA. She urged former Australian Prime Minister John Howard to end mulesinga, an Australian sheep farming practice which was considered cruel by many animal rights activists. After researching the Australian wool industry on her own, she revised her position.
