The former Love/Hate star Robert Sheehan is all set to make his comeback to the theatre this year.

Report has it that the Irish actor has been cast in a production of ‘The War of the Roses’ which will be performed at the Rose Theatre, Kingston Upon Thames in London. The actor is very excited to return to the stage one more time.

The War of the Roses is the production of a trilogy of plays inspired by Shakespeare’s quartet of historical plays- Henry VI parts I, II, III and Richard III.The drama will be based on the conflict between the Houses of York and Lancaster for the English throne and “tells a tale of feuding families, murderous kings and adulterous queens”.

Sheehan is being accompanied by other celebrated actors like Tudors fame Joely Richardson and Norwegian actor Kare Conradi. Richardson will play the role of Queen Margaret and Conradi will portray the role of Edward IV whereas Sheehan aged 27 will play Richard III in the historical drama. The play seems to be promising with its star studded cast.

Robert Sheehan is not a new figure on the London stage. He had previously performed on stage in 2011′s ‘The Playboy Of The Western World’ at The Old Vic.

As for the play, The War of the Roses has not been staged since 1963. The play will begin its run in September this year.

The handsome actor, who inked a tattoo of a star for his role of Darren in Love/Hate, is also quite over the Moon for his new movie ‘Moonwalkers’. We saw him working together with the Harry Potter fame Rupert Grint in the cine flick ‘Cherrybomb’ and now this lanky actor is all set to show his acting skills in a new movie Moonwalkers. The film is a feature film directorial debut for Antoine Bardou-Jacquet and it has been written by Death At A Funeral’s Dean Craig.

Sheehan who got his major Hollywood breakthrough in Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ screen adaptation has been able to get hold of several blockbuster movies lately and it seems to cheer up the hot actor even more.

Sheehan previously won millions of heart as Vincent in the movie ‘The Road Within’. His character suffers from Tourette Syndrome and is admitted to a psychological health clinic after his mother’s death. There he meets fellow patients Marie [Zoe Kravtiz] and Alex [Dev Patel] and they escape and go on a road trip together.

The film received positive reviews from critics and also won the audience award for best American independent feature at the Paris Champs Elysees festival.

Sheehan is currently enjoying a fun filled year with his Jet Trash co-star and girlfriend Sofia Boutella. Boutella is French-Algerian actress cum dancer who has starred in a recent Hollywood flick ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’. The model-turned-actress has appeared in Madonna music videos, and has been featured in several music stars’ videos such as Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Usher, Jamiroquai and Michael Jackson. The Hollywood Tonight fame has also toured with Madonna and has appeared in many Nike ads as well.

The love smitten Sheehan gushed about his ladylove openly in a recent interview.

"We're both show offs and we both help each other when we have job interviews," he told Eoghan McDermott on 2FM at the Louise McSharry Show.

He added: “She’s my lovely other half.”

The couple who met in India in a process of filming an independent movie for several months started dating shortly. Though Sophia is quiet about their affair, Sheehan is very open about it. The pair frequently posts pictured of them on Instagram and Twitter.

So their love is really taking flight, isn’t it?
