ABC News Anchor Amy Robach Struggling With Early Phase Of Menopause After Beating Breast Cancer

Good Morning America Anchor Amy Robach is a breast cancer survivor but nowadays she is struggling with the early phase of menopause in her 40.

Amy Robach shares her agony after suffering from menopause. She told she is suffering several hot flashes and older age feeling due to menopause. The side effects of the chemotherapy result in menopause.

Menopause normally happens around the age of 51 but here the things are different with the mother of two Robach. She is agonizing as early menopause happens to one in a million women. Menopause results in the end of reproduction cycle due to the decrease of progesterone & estrogen hormones in a woman.

The cause of menopause is hormonal medicines, smoking, and treatments like chemotherapy.

In 2013, Robach was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer after a live show related to mammogram awareness. She undergoes two mastectomies and 8 processes of chemotherapy. Now after 5 years she suffered the breast cancer treatment side effect that led her to menopause.

Robach must be going through a hard time first breast cancer now it's side effects that triggered her menopause. She told after the treatment of cancer menopause will enter as a breeze unaware of the constant and painful symptom. She describes her first symptom which mounted her anxiety and she feels like ripping her clothes off.

Now Robach has acknowledged menopause is a common side effect of chemotherapy. Robach has also written an inspiring story in her New York Best-selling Book Better.
