6-years old Akash Vukoti could not win the 'spelling bee competition', he still is a star

6-years-old Akash Vukoti is the living embodiment of Sportsmanship. Akash made history by becoming the first 1st grader to qualify for the National Spelling Bee competition. He competed with kids twice his age. Although he was eventually dismissed, he still managed to impress everyone. He was departed with huge applause from his competitors and audience alike. How cool is he, you ask? He can pronounce pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.

This kid-genius has managed to awe people in several occasion. Akash and his family moved to San Angelo from the East Coast in August, and less than 8 months later he became the youngest winner of the San Angelo Spelling Bee.

When his father was asked about his son, he answered that it was the God. According to his father, Akash spends at least an hour going over his words, that hour sometimes turns into four or five.

Despite just being a child, Akash states that he does not have stage fright. The confidence scores even kids older than him.

"Just like in 'Little Big Shots,' I'm not nervous when going on stage,"

"I studied very hard, and I won the bee with 'circumspectly,' a really easy word," Akash said with a giggle Wednesday. "If I didn't study well, I would be probably not going to win at all, because I wouldn't even know a single word."
