There have been a lot of questions asked as to why American racing sensation Robby Gordon, even at the age of 47, is still not married.
This has lead to a lot of rumors about the racer and his sexuality. But it seems like the racer has finally opened up about his personal life.
Affairs and love life
According to our sources, it has just not yet occurred to Gordon to get married and start a family. It is as simple as that the race car driver has had many girlfriends in the past, but has not yet thought about a serious possible future with any of them.
Sources also add that he has openly sated that he is not gay and is a straight gentleman. It was rumored that while dating, he had once found a woman he wants to marry.
But things did not go as he had planned in that relationship, thus leading to a break up. Since then, he has not given another thought to marriage, according to our sources.
Professional career and Racing
Robby Gordon has raced in the NASCAR, CART, Indy Car, Trans Aim, IMSA, IROC and the Dakar Rally.
Gordon, who is the son of Baja Bob Gordon, started his career as an off road Truck Racer and took part in the Off Road Racing. He went on to win 5 consecutive Off Road SCORE International titles.
He also went on to win the Mickey Thompson Stadium Series and three Baja Titles. Gordon continued to carry on his off road racing career in the Champ Car and NASCAR.
Gordon took part in the famous 16 days Dakar rally while representation the REDBULL sponsored by the Volkswagen team.
Throughout his racing career he has accomplished many wins. He got his debut in the Winston Cup in 1991 driving two races including the Dayton 500 and Dona levy.
Gordon has had a celebrated career and has also been called a sensation. Sources say he calls himself fortunate to have gotten a start due to a tragic death of the first team racer Davey Allison. He drove the Ford Texaco for Robert Yates racing company.
His significant victories include the 7 SCORE International Championship (1991-90, 1996, 2006, 3 Baja 1000 wins (1987, 1989, 2006), 4 Baja 500 wins(1989,1990,2005,2013), 9 Dakar Rally Stage victories.
Moreover, 3 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win ( New Hampshire 01, Infineon and Watkins Glen 03), 1 NASCAR Sprint Cup Gatorade 125 win (2003), 1 NASCAR Nation Wide Series win(Richmond04), 2 CART wins(Phoenix and Detroit 95) and 1 Central European Special Rally win (2008 CER Stage 5 Scratch One 1 winner).
The famous race car driver is estimated to have a total net worth of $40 million dollars, which is expected to increase significantly in the coming days.
