NFL Linebacker Jack Lambert's children love sports but they are kept away from football, says his wife, Lisa.

Putting him in one of the best NFL players does him no justice. Jack Lambert was the best linebacker of his era and many the best to ever exist and many of NFL players strive to become just like him.

The Sports list even named him the toughest players of all time. He has many accolades and honors to his name which further makes him shine in glory. Jack was a 9 times pro bowl sections among his 11 seasons. Metatarsophalangeal joint sprain took its toll on him during 1984 NFL season after which retired and got married to Lisa Harbison.

It has been more than 30 years since his retirement and many people don’t recognize him at all. And for those who do, Jack has decided to lay low.

Today, this once hailed linebacker is a coach to his son’s team. He even coaches kid’s baseball and basketball team. Most don’t even know him and even when his son tells them that his father is The Jack Lambert, they don’t believe that the teeth-less coach is him.

This, however, is the least of Jack’s problems. He is now living a normal life away from all the attention like a normal family. Sometimes he goes to his daughter’s basketball match and no one knows who he is.

Although Jack has been awarded in Pro football hall of fame, in the acceptance speech to Hall of fame he made his wife and his daughter stand up, then he said that it was his family that is his hall of fame.

“The Lamberts emphasize academics and do not pressure their children in athletics”, said Lisa Lambert in one of the interviews. Although, if their children are really passionate towards sports, Lisa and Jack won’t force them as well they believe that education is the first priority for all.

According to his wife, Jack thinks that the sports nowadays are entirely different from what it used to be. He thinks that sportsmanship is easy nowadays and people are pampered so there is no conviction in people for the sport.

His contribution to this sports honored him by his club retiring the jersey number that he had worn (58). Jack declares himself as a mean player in the field. His various quotes such as

"I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest - If you can't take it, you shouldn't play!” or even better one "I am very aggressive and very physical. On the field, I guess I am just plain to mean” clearly favors his statement."

Jack’s net worth has not yet been revealed but considering his fame and 125 acre of land and all the properties, it can be assumed that it’s in millions of dollar.
