The Daily Telegraph revealed on Saturday that the sexy Shanina Shaik is the new face of the Australian footwear label, Tony Bianco.
The Victoria’s Secret model was signed on as the fresh face for the famous shoe brand. The gorgeous beauty, who has walked on various international runways, is set to rock the Bianco shoe, a brand which is very close to her home and her heart as well.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the 24 year old model said that she had been a huge fan of the brand for some time.
‘I’m a huge fan, every time I come home to Australia I go to the store or go online and I usually just stock up on everything I want,’ she said.
After the news surfaced the media, her social media accounts are also heavily flooded with images of the model wearing the brand’s signature footwear. She has been sharing pictures of her on Instagram and Twitter.
The label’s founder and CEO Anthony Bianco, has credited the increase of Tony Bianco sales in USA to Shanina and Australian model Nicole Trunfio, who is also a face of Tony Bianco. The sale has increased by 200 percent after she and Nicole wore the designs to various red carpet events.
Tony Bianco shoes are particularly famous for the signature thigh high lace up boots which has always been the brand’s top sellers.
The Make Me A Supermodel runner-up will be making her appearance in the brand’s summer campaign due this month which according to Mr. Bianco will be strongly influenced by 70s aesthetics.
The announcement of Shanina’s enrollment in the label has been made as Bianco is all set to expand its store network along with openings of two boutiques at Bondi Junction and Chatswood coming months .
Besides Shanina, super-models like Jodi Anasta and Bambi Northwood-Blyth are also among the few celebrities who are part of the label.
