Miguel Layun, arguably the best football player in Mexico will be a father soon and his happiness knows no bounds.
He and his wife Ana announced the forthcoming arrival of their first child to media and fans all over the world by a post on Twitter.
Miguel family life and wife
Miguel and Ana also posted a picture of an ultrasound that solidifies the claim of an expectant child in the very near future for them. However that was not it for Miguel who clearly was over the moon with the news.
He even went further to post a picture of him holding a Coca-Cola can having the word papa inscribed in it. He also thanked his wife by saying “Thank you for giving me the greatest joy in the world! # TeAmoo”.
The couples Miguel and Ana first met a couple of years earlier and ever since then have been always seen together. Many have even described them of being inseparable love birds.
Over the years, Ana has time and again proved how lucky Miguel is to have her as a wife. Especially, when he was the subject of a wide spread joke following Mexico’s loss in the world cup.
Ana, on the other hand was more outspoken about the matter and she lashed out to media and public several times for harassing her husband.
The matter at one point had gone so out of hand that it had become impossible for Miguel and Ana to go out, especially to restaurants and shopping malls.
Ana also for a brief period stopped wearing her husband’s club jersey fearing harassment from public.
However today Miguel has overcome a phase probably the darkest one in his life with his head held high and now is widely considered as the best player in Mexico and one of the best defenders in the world.
Miguel had always mentioned how he would love to bear children with his wife. Now that it is almost time he considers himself a very lucky man.
Career success or professional life
His professional life on the other hand has bounced back from almost nearing its end. His current contract is with Spanish League Club Granada for a term of five-years.
However, on his arrival he was shipped out on a loan to Premier League Side Watford. There he was handed the prestigious number seven jersey.
After spending a season in the English league he moved for a year- long load deal to Portuguese side Porto for a sum of € 6. However Miguel’s net worth remains to be undisclosed.
Miguel is also a very popular personality on social media and boast of almost 4.37 Million followers in total. He can be followed as miguel_layun on Instagram and @Miguel_layun on his Twitter handle.
