Michael Oher says that people take away things from him because of the movie. He says he doesn't get the respect that he deserves. He gives all the credit to the football, not the movie. Life is hard. It is not as simple as it is shown in the movie.

Michael Oher says “I’m tired of the movie. I’m here to play football. Football is what got me here and the movie, it wasn’t me. I always knew how to play football growing up. It was different personalities, stuff like that. Playing football is what got me to this point.”
The movie was a big hit in the box office with more than $300 million collections, but it did not bring happiness in the face of Oher. People always focus on the play of Ohio. This brings him a bit of discomfort nowadays.
