Love Island Couples That Are Still Going Strong in 2019

Love Island is a lot of things. It’s watching the filtered slo-mo scenes, getting that déjà vu seeing the girls’ evening outfit or even watching someone pulling their partner aside for a “chat.” Despite the pool-side smooches, romance, and heartbreak, the show frames the real-life drama of couples with slickly produced and excellent narration.

The British dating reality show first aired for two seasons, in 2005 and 2006 on ITV. The show was revived on June 7, 2015, on ITV2. The 5th season of the revived version premiered on June 2, 2019, and in this season the island has a line of pretty good-looking singletons.

Many contestants or as they call them, islanders found their better half on the show. While most of them have called it quits and parted ways, a few have set the perfect example for the viewers who believe in true love. So, let’s find out which couples are still together?

Camilla and Jamie have been together ever since they have coupled in Love Island 2017 season. After they ended up as the runner-ups of the show, they moved in together in 2017 with their dogs, Audrey and Gus. Camilla took to Instagram to share the exciting news that they found the perfect place to move into after living with Jamie’s parents for a long time.

The former Miss Edinburgh’s documentary, What Camilla Did Next, gave fans a peek at her busy life and how she balanced her relationship with Jamie and celebrity status while working hard abroad. The couple has also taken part in various fundraising missions.

If the islanders want to know how it’s done, then this couple has set the perfect example. Dom married the published glamour model, Jessica in October 2018. The couple of Love Island 2017 series said “I do” in a secret ceremony on Valentine’s Day 2018.

They married for the second time in a lavish ceremony months later in October on the Greek Island of Mykonos. Now, they are expecting their first child together. Jessica announced her pregnancy posting a picture of her baby bump on Instagram on May 15, 2019.

The winners of Love Island 2016 season, Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde got engaged in July 2018, when Nathan proposed to her on the same spot in the Love Island villa, where they first met. They got married in June 2019 in a secret ceremony at Preston Court Barn in Canterbury.

These lovebirds briefly went separate ways in April 2017, while Cara was pregnant with their first child but reunited later that year. They welcomed their son, Freddie George on December 13, 2017.

Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland

The contestants of Love Island 2016 season did not win the show but they definitely found true love. The couple has remained together ever since the show. Alex proposed to Olivia on New Year's 2017 and then got married in an “overwhelmingly perfect” ceremony at Gosfield Hall in Essex on September 15, 2018. The two were left in tears when they saw each other on their big day. Now isn’t that sweet?
