According to a spokesman for Prince, the 57-year old singer had been suffering the flu for several weeks and had even canceled two shows in Atlanta.

However, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer had still performed for his huge number of fans at Fox Theatre on Thursday night even though he was not feeling well.

After the show, he boarded his jet to fly back home and his condition radically worsened. Such uncertain health complication forced the pilot to make an emergency landing around 1 am in rural Moline, Illinois.

According to TMZ, Prince has been released from the hospital and is at home rest now. He was back on the plane after three hours of receiving treatment.

It seems that Prince has recovered quite soon.

Just after few hours of his emergency landing, he shared on Twitter.
