Boy George was born on June 14, 1961, as George Alan O’Dowd in Eltham, London. He has four brothers and one sister. Although he has four brothers and a sister, he claims that he has a lonely childhood because he used to refer himself as the “pink sheep” of his family.

Their band’s track- "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" and "Karma Chameleon" landed at No. 1 on the U.K. charts and also topped in the U.S. After their breakthrough album in 1983- Colour by Numbers top the chart in U.K., charting to #2 in the U.S.

4. Boy George- Relationship with Jon Moses

George was in a relationship with drummer Jon Moses. While he was in a relationship with Jon, he claimed that some of the songs he wrote were aimed at Moses directly.

However, their romance did not last though. They broke up with speculation that Jon broke off his engagement to a woman to be with George. It was also said that he was not completely happy in a homosexual relationship with Boy George so he moved on to marry a woman and has several children.

3. Boy George- Clothing Line

Well, the creative projects are new albums and a clothing collection. He has a clothing line- B-Rude. He said that he has been in the clothing line for more than 9 years and the line already has some of the pretty famous fans.

2. Boy George and Culture Club- Secret Relationship

Culture Club and Boy George had a secret relationship from 1981 to 1985. The singer exposed all in his 1995 history in Take It Like A Man. And most of the band’s songs were written about the secret affair. 

Unfortunately, their relationship ended due to frustrations regarding the hide it and the split, along with Boy George’s deteriorating drug addiction. The band members parted their ways in 1986.

1. Boy George- A Vegan Buddhist

The music icon eventually became a vegetarian and practiced Nichiren Buddhism for the last eight years. He told HuffPost Live, “I always say I’m Catholic in my complications and Buddhist in my aspirations”.
