Kate’s Husband Andy Spade opens up for the first time since his wife’s death on Tuesday speaking with The New York Times.

“Kate was battling with depression and anxiety for many years. She was actively seeking help and working closely with her doctors to treat her disease, one that takes far too many lives,” told Andy.
Andy added, she showed no sign and warning that she would suicide. She sounded happy a day before her death. Looks like she was fighting her daily life with personal demons.
“My teenage daughter and I are devastated by her loss, and can’t even being to fathom life without her. We are deeply heartbroken and miss her already.”
Andy also revealed that he and her dead wife live apart for some time within a few blocks of distance to each other.
“We were not legally separated, and never even discussed divorce,” he said. “We were best friends trying to work through our problems in the best way we knew how.”
As per the police reports, the designer was found dead by her housekeeper on Tuesday at her Park Avenue apartment build in Manhattan.
