On Tuesday, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, John Huddy claimed that Fox News fired him for "inappropriate and unprofessional behavior, " but they never gave an example on this topic.
Fox News stated:
following a thorough investigation into a physical altercation earlier this month
the company decided to sever ties with Huddy, adding, "the network's investigation concluded last week, and due to an observation of the Sabbath on Friday, terminated Huddy's employment."
Huddy explained to The Hollywood Reporter that he exchanged few words not punches when a freelance photographer pushed a cart into him at the Barcelona airport on October 12. He added claiming that the tens grew between the pair and the photographer trash talked women that includes his sister, Juliet Huddy.
He added:
I'm not trying to play the victim or be a martyr.
As journalists it's our job to expose injustice, and this is brutal.
John Huddy Sr., the father of John Huddy, served as a consultant to former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes, but later was fired after Ailes left the network of his sexual harassment scandal. Huddy explained:
They hurt my sister, they hurt my father, and now they're trying to hurt me.
