Judge Andrew Napolitano, is a massive whale in the field of law. He is a graduate of Princeton University and Notre Dame School. After finishing law school, he entered the ocean of law as a freshman, a regular private litigator with no connections, and no affiliations to huge politicians who would give him his golden ticket. We can just say that he started with nothing but an ambition. An ambition to reach where he stands today.
Having served as is the youngest life-tenured Superior Court judge in the history of the State of New Jersey Judge Napolitano tried more than 150 jury trials and sat in all parts of the Superior Court while on the bench from 1987 to 1995, Now, he is the Senior Judicial Analyst for Fox News Channel, commenting on legal news and trials, and is a syndicated columnist whose work appears in numerous publications, such as Fox News, The Washington Times, and Reason.
The 65 year old Napolitano is a man of thorough versatility. In a short span of time he already become a teacher, judge and news analyst and acted in the TV show ‘Power of Attorney’ (2000 to 2002). At the dawn of his career, he taught for two years at Delaware Law School (1980 to 1981). He quit teaching when he was called to sit on the New Jersey bench from 1987 to 1995 becoming the state’s youngest then-sitting Superior court judge. His age was just 37 years at that time. It must have been quite an experience for him, maybe like biting hot chili every day for he had to keep up with the experienced judges sitting on the bench. However tough the job might have been, the hero Napolitano was not going to lose as he issued several notable decisions which was openly appreciated by all his colleagues and executives working in law. He supports the Libertarian Party as we can see that his views are inclined to the party’s ideals. He seems to share his views on law even in social networking site Twitter.
After working for 8 years on the bench, Napolitano resigned his judgeship for private practice. Maybe the small courtroom and limited number of people around him were not enough to satisfy his drive to practicing and understanding law up to its brim. Thus, later he pursued a writing, teaching and television through which he could reach larger groups of people not only in America but in the whole world and help create a better system of law throughout the world. Among his famous books are ‘A Nation of Sleep’ (2007), ‘Constitutional Chaos’ (2004) and ‘The Constitution in Exile’ (2006)
Talking about his personal life, the New Jersey-born Napolitano has never been married and thus has no wife or children. Although he seems to have shifted his profession, he has never been fired from any of his ex-jobs. Well, seems like he is married to his job.
