“I’m single, but I hear directors get a lot of attention, so who knows what will
happen after this movie comes out. I’m optimistic,” said the 34 years old Australian actor Josh Lawson in an interview after doing his directorial debut in the year 2014, with the movie The Little Death.
Before directing the movie, Lawson was dating his ex-girlfriend Rachael Taylor who is his only official girlfriend. Behind the camera, hot Lawson might have enjoyed affairs with many beautiful girls. Currently, he is single but seems ready to get mingled.
Lawson has an impressing sexy height of 6 feet 2 inches but is not married yet. Lawson along with enjoying his career, he is eagerly waiting for a beautiful girl to enter in his life who would be perfect to be his wife.
Having an affair with a girl in past, we could not speculate Lawson a gay man.
Born and raised in Brisbane, Lawson attended St Joseph’s College, Gregory Terrace and graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2001.
Lawson’s older brother Ben had a full-time role on soap opera Neighbors and his younger brother Jordan plays bass in the Brisbane-based band The Gallant. Might be Lawson has an influence of his elder brother on him to head his career in acting.
Lawson landed in the acting career in his middle teens and is being active in the acting field since last 19 years. He started his acting career with the guest appearances in TV shows.
He has appeared as a guest star in popular Australian television programs like Blue Heelers and Home and Away, Australian dramas Sea Patrol and The Librarians and comedy programs Thank God You’re Here and Wilfred. Lawson even starred in television advertisements for Coca-Cola Cherry and Gold Class Cinemas.
Lawson also hosted Wipeout Australia with James Brayshaw.
Later in 2006, after struggling for almost 10 years he made his feature film debut in Boy Town.
The year 2012 appeared to be the best year in the phase of Lawson’s acting career. The year he had the starring role in comedy film Any Questions For Ben? And he played his biggest role to date in the comedy film The Campaign. It seems comedy movies suited him and his character the most.
Recently Lawson is working as the main cast Doug Guggenheim in the series Houses of Lies since 2012. And currently, he is developing a new comedy series, as well as a play for the acclaimed Belvoir Theatre in Sydney.
Only a few people may know that Lawson has written award-winning plays like Shakespearealism , The 11 o’clock and Work In Progress and also wrote for the multi-award-winning Australian sitcom Stupid, Stupid Man.
