Jeff Stelling's March to the Arch.

English sports journalist Jeff Stelling’s is decided to walk for March to the Arch to increase awareness for prostate cancer. Known for his audacity for charity, Jeff is again walked ten marathons for ten days for the cause. The date of marathon started from the 21-30th March. He walked from Hartlepool United to Webley raising more than £365,000 in the process.

The money raised would help to fund some vital research project. It includes Professor Johann De Bono's at The Institute of Cancer Research, London, and The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, whose teams have been developing a genetic test for aggressive prostate cancer to help assess which men will respond best to 'a certain treatment.’

Jeff was followed by his close friend Hartlepool United FC chief executive Russ Green, who applauded his friend's attempt to walk 262 miles.

“Ignoring prostate cancer won’t beat it, and I was proud to join the fight during the recent Men United March, 10 days I will never forget.”

They were also joined by UK chief executive Angela Culhane. She had walked for over 60 miles. Angela was also impressed by all work. “The blisters may have healed after an incredible 10 days, but I’m delighted to say the legacy of Jeff’s Men United March is still very much alive.”

The documentary of Jeff’s heroic attempt was captured in a documentary that aired on Sky Sports at 22:30 just before the Premier League clash between Liverpool and Chelsea. The documentary is named ‘Stelling's March to the Arch'.
