Jagger Eaton - Biography

Jagger Eaton is a funded amateur Skateboarder who is now the youngest ‘X Games’ and a ‘Mega Ramp’ competitor.

Synopsis

Jagger Eaton was born in Mesa, Arizona, United States of America. He is a Skateboarder and now represents United States in the ‘Summer X Games’. Eaton has a brother and they are both engaged in Skateboarding since his father owns ‘Kids That Rip (KTR), a Skateboard/Gymnastics training facility. He first competed at the age 11 in 2012 X-Games held in Los Angeles. Regardless of Skateboarding, Eaton is interested in ‘Snowboarding’ and ‘Golf’.

Early Life

Jagger Eaton was born on February 21st, 2001; in Mesa, Arizona, United States of America. At the young age of 4, he started with Skateboarding with his older brother.

Personal Life

Jagger’s father name is ‘Geoff Eaton’ who owns ‘Kids That Rip (KTR)’, a skateboarding training facility. He has an elder brother named Jett Eaton who is 2 years older than him and a younger brother who is named after the legend ‘Eric Koston’. Apart from Skateboarding, he is into ‘Golf’ and ‘Snowboarding’. However, he has appeared in the scene with just his Skateboard and not with Golf balls or Snowboards.

 

Career

Eaton is sponsored by DC Shoes along with his big brother and junior skater Tom Schaar. Following the sponsorship; in 2010, he and his brother were called by ‘Colin McKay’ to skate on ‘New Vert Ramp’ in Southern California.

During the 2012 X Games held in LA, he finished 12th in Big Air when he was just an 11-year-old kid.

With the event, he was named the freshest sportsperson ever to compete at X Games after ‘Nyjah Huston’. He has finished 4th twice in X Games Big Air till the date. At present, he is looking forward to competing as an amateur in Street Arms.

In December 2014, he managed to win ‘Tampa Am’ in Florida; the United States of America, when he was just 13 years old. During February of 2015, he won the ‘BoardAm’ that held in Houston, Texas, US. Following the event, he earned an invitation to ‘BoardAm Finals’ at the ‘X Games 2015’ in Austin, Texas.

Overall, Eaton has competed in X Games 6 times and has managed to get the fourth position twice. His best Big Air finish was 4th in X Games Munich and LA in 2013. And furthermore, he managed to get in the 3rd place on May 2015 ‘Kia World Extreme’ beating the greatest legends‘Evan Smith’ and ‘Chris Cole’.

Television Appearance

Regardless of his skateboarding career, Eaton has made his appearance on episodes of ‘Ridiculousness’ and ‘Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory’ that aired in January of 2015.

Jagger Eaton’s Win

As per his win; in 2012, he managed to get 12th place in Big Air at X Games, LA. In 2013, he finished 4th at Global X Games in Munich and got 6th in Barcelona. In LA, he got his 4th position for the second time in Big Air.

During the ‘Vert and Big Air Competition’, he finished 8th in Vert and 2nd in Big Air. At ‘Big Air Best Trick Gap Competition’, he finished 1st. In 2014, he got his 1st position for yet another time at ‘Tampa Am’. In 2015, he finished 2nd at ‘Tampa Am’. And nonetheless; at ‘BoardAm’, he managed to win the tournament.

Currently, he is hosting the reality and adventure television series "Jagger Eaton's Mega Life" which was premiered on Nickelodeon on September 9, 2016.
