Is Michael Mando married? Is he dating anyone?

The kids who have to move around frequently have to face some serious problems of adaptation. Being away from home at a young age and moving around different but equally alien places frequently can be troublesome for children. The person I am talking about lived in 10 cities, 5 countries, 4 continents and over 35 different houses by his early 20s. He attended 2 universities, 4 high schools and 3 colleges in totality. That is quite a lot, isn’t it? Do you want to know how he turned out growing up?

Well, for a start, moving around helped him a lot to absorb different cultures and behaviors. He did face a lot of trouble deciding what he wanted to do growing up. He wanted to become a writer or an athlete. His knee injury made him choose a new path. He studied psychology and later pursued an academic scholarship in International Relations. He wanted a career either in economy, psychology or international relations. But what he ended up doing was not on his list then. Acting took over all of them. He decided to become an actor instead as he fell in love with it in an instant. Good choice!  Mando says ‘Before acting, I was always attracted to words, to literature- be they the words of Williams, Arthur Miller, Shakespeare or Moliere.’

In his acting career he has earned himself 2 CSA nominated performances, as a series regular in orphan Black (2013-14) and guest star in Rookie Blue (2014); as well as his award winning performance in the global hit VG Far Cry 3 (2012) and viral live action webseries The Far Cry Experience (2012).

Role of Victor ‘Vic’ Schmidt in the sci-fi thriller television series, Orphan Black brought him in front of audience in the TV. Mando admits ‘I’m a big fan of Orphan Black, and to be one of the original cast members is something that will always be dear to me.’ But, his role as Vaas Motenegro, one of the main antagonists of the video game Far Cry is equally responsible for his fame. The actor has not only lend his voice, face and body to the game but co-created the character with Ubisoft.

Michael Mando is also the Artistic Director and President of Red Barlo Production which was founded by Michael himself promptly after playing the leading character in two award winning professional theatre productions in Montereal. To add to his appreciation, Michael played the lead in all 5 productions at Dome Theatre and was well appreciated by the chairman himself. He has done numerous movies and TV shows till date and hopefully continue to thrive in the industry. Along with his multitalented ability in acting, sports, writing his incredible singing voice is worthy of mentioning.

Rooting on to his personal affairs, Michael has a height of 5 feet 9 inch and his last recorded weight was 68 kilograms. He has not been married as per the records as it looks like his girlfriends did not have a wife potential. He has so far maintained quiet a distance with media when his personal life comes into the picture. The current girlfriend he is dating now is also a mystery to be solved. As far as the rumors about him being a gay goes, he has not so far commented in this matter. He has an estimated net worth of around $2.4 million, which remains unverified.
