She began her reporting journey in 2013 and joined ESPN in 2016. Collins is one of the talented second-generation journalists and is often compared with her mother Maria Antonieta Collins who is also a journalist and TV host.

Although Collins is quite known for her work in front of the camera, however, she prefers to keep her off-camera life away from the spotlight. Also, she has been linked with few faces in the industry. 

On 6th August 2021, she posted a picture with the caption "new beginnings" although the man's identity was not revealed. The post was filled with best wishes and congratulation wishes.

Similarly, she posted a picture of her hugging a mysterious man from behind on the 13th of August leaving major relationship hints. Going through her social media, the name of the man was revealed to be Danny. Apart from this, no other information is known about him at the moment. 

According to various sources, she was in a romantic relationship with professor Mark Bergmann. Mark was the manager of WRMU 91.1 FM while she was a member of the station at that time. The couple dated for a while, however, it is not known why they separated.

Collins' Early Life & Childhood

Antonietta "Toni" Gonzalez-Collins was born on 22nd November 1985 in Mexico City, Mexico to Maria Antonieta Collins. She is 37 years old as of 2022. 

Collins began playing soccer at the age of 10 and was even asked to join Mexico's national team under-19 division. 

She attended St. Brendan High School located in Miami, Florida. After high school, she enrolled and graduated from Mount Union College with a bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in sports management.

After graduating in 2013, Collins began working as a production assistant at Univision in Miami, Florida. She has also collaborated with producers of national programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Juventud, Premios Lo Nuestro, and Primer Impacto. 

In a similar way, she has worked as a production assistant with the CBS Sports Radio affiliate in St. Petersburg, Florida. She then worked as a sports reporter covering the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the University of South Florida football team. 

Antonietta accepted her first on-camera job in 2013 as a news reporter for Univision's Noticias 48/FOX2 news team and covered stories on immigration and drug trafficking on both sides of the Texas-Mexico border.

Likewise, she also produced and anchored Univision 23's local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra. 

As of 2016, Collins joined ESPAN and began working as a news anchor for SportsCenter. She also occasionally hosts the SportsNation TV program which airs on ESPN+.
