Recently, there were a lot of rumors floating around that actor Vincent Piazza was engaged. But as everyone predicted, that's all it was, a fake gossip. Not only is he not engaged to his girlfriend, he has remained single since the end of 2012, after separating from Ashlee Simpson. So girls (and boys!), no worries, the actor, age 39, is currently pretty much single- given that his girlfriend doesn’t have a invisibility cloak. ( Yeah… a pretty bad joke) Moving on!
Now that we can be certain that Piazza is not seeing anyone, let alone be engaged, there have been news that the Boardwalk Empire actor is set to star in the Marvel superhero series Daredevil. Latino Review was the one coming up with the rumour as he met with the series producer, yet the actor may not be appearing in the hit series. He may have met the producer for a MCU role. Nonetheless, there is a huge possibility that he may be featured, with the series looking for a lot of new faces in it’s coming season. Well, only time will tell if he stars in the show.
Born and raised in Queens in New York, Piazza's father immigrated to the U.S. in the early 1960s leaving his ancestral home in Italy and married his mother, who is of a German descent. Standing at a height of 5’11”, Piazza may not have been an actor if not for an injury. An ACHA Division I ice hockey player for Villanova University, where he stayed for only a year, a recurring shoulder injury forced him to quit playing. He received his education from Archbishop Molloy High School in Briarwood before attending Villanova University.
Only after the injury did he began acting, starting with acting coach Alice Spivak. After learning acting, he joined the TerraNOVA Collective theatre group in Lion Theatre and also appeared for a few New York Off Broadway productions. He made his way into television after signing for the 2006 feature film Stephanie Daley. This was followed by appearance in The Dawn , Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Goodbye Baby, Tie a Yellow Ribbon, Apology and Blue blood.
Not much into giving interviews, the Boardwalk Empire star doesn’t take to Twitter and Instagram, let alone Facebook, to discuss his personal life. He was in news quite often during his relationship with singer Ashlee Simpson. An American singer and also an actress, the Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica star gained further fame after appearing in the spin-off program The Ashlee Simpson Show . Her debut album, Autobiography followed by I Am Me, reached the top charts while Bittersweet World debuted at number four.
Now that Piazza is growing old, he’ll definitely be thinking of marrying soon. With whom and when remains a mystery. Hope we find that out soon!
