Heather Childers - Biography - Television Personality, News Anchor and Co-Host

Fox news anchor Heather Star Childers was born on  January 7, 1969, in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Third annual Golden Viddy Award winner, American television news anchor is linked with Fox news for around 6 years now and is best known for her shows like America's News Headquarters and Fox and Friends First.

Heather Childers spent most of her childhood in Charlotte, North Carolina and attended a nearby school called Sharon Elementary School, situated in Foxcroft. On later days she was sent to Myers Park High School and graduated her school's education in 1987.

Heather was caught into a tragic car crash accident when she was in her Junior-highs in 1985 when she was only 16 years old. She got caught in a road tragedy while she was driving her 1964 Chevrolet Corvair on Queens Road West and crashed her car into a tree. Her facial structure was badly damaged due to the accident's impact and she had to spend a long time in hospital bed followed with the years of facial reconstruction surgery.

After recovering from the accident and finished her high school education and after high school, she attended the University of North Carolina situated in her home town of at Chapel Hill, Charlotte with Bachelors in Arts with English as her Major subject.

After four years of college studies, Heather started her career as a producer and reporter in 1992 with Charlotte's local news broadcasting channel called WCNC-TV.

After WCNC, she was engaged with many other news channels like WFXL-TV which is a Fox news affiliate channel in Albany, Georgia in 1995 as a weekday anchor and later she rose to the post of news director in WFXL. After working in WFXL for four years she moved to WLOS-TV Asheville, North Carolin; affiliated to ABC network in 1999.

She joined News-14 as a news anchor in 2002 and worked for eight years. Later in 2010 Childers signed a contract with Fox News network for the post of general assignment reporter and has been working for the news monster for more than 5 years now.

Childers in recent days hosts two of Fox News channel's program "America's News Headquarters" and "Fox & Friends First". As a true reporter journalist Childers takes her job very seriously and goes beyond the limit to get her work done.

Heather was highly appreciated for live reporting of 214's crash landing incident at San Francisco International Airport. She gained was praised a lot by her fellow workers and news critics in 2013 when she featured the  Al-Qaeda terror threats which forced the closing of U.S. Embassies in the Middle East.

The fitness freak news anchor once created and faced a lot of controversies back in 2012 after tweeting a post from a site called Godfatherpolitics.com which raised a question towards Obama Camping threatening Hillary Clinton's daughter Chelsea with her life when Hillary's camping raised a question in concern to the US president Barack Obama's birth certificate.

She later justified her tweet as her job to find out the truth as a Journalist.
