Guitar God Ace Frehley rocking the crowds in his new US tour

Not that this is his first time, nor are there any signs of his final act, but Ace Frehley continues to perform and amaze fans even at the age of 64. As they say, one’s never too old for rock n roll. Pretty cool rhyming huh?

Anyways, Frehley looks set for a wonderful year this time around as well. His US tour till date has been one great affair with die-hard fans eagerly buying tickets, and if insiders are to be believed, it’s also bound to fetch a lot of money. Already thought to have a net worth of $1.5 million, he’ll be expected to rock the crowd and there’s actually no doubt he won’t.

What to expect on the tour is simple- the former Kiss lead-guitarist is a fine performer. But more than that, we can expect new songs, if gossips are to be true. Quite a many times, they are actually just rumors but recalling the “Guitar God”s interview late back last year, he did say he was planning for some songs for his cover albums.

"I'm trying to pick songs that, kind of, influenced me through my career. You know, groups and certain songs… I'm doing another [THE ROLLING] STONES song. That's no… I'm not a stranger to redoing STONES songs. But, yeah, I'm working on an ANIMALS song, and maybe a [Jimi] Hendrix song. And a couple of… I think I'm gonna be doing 'Parasite' and 'Cold Gin' — songs that I wrote that I didn't sing on the original KISS records. So that'll be a treat, too, for the fans."

If what he said is true, then the fans are in for one fine treat. The first tour will be staged at Dubuque, IA followed by performance at Greenbay on the September of 14th. Ever since the news that the legendary guitarist of Kiss would stage a tour came to surface, fans were desperate to land a ticket and there are not many left.

After leaving “Kiss” back in 1982 to follow an individual career, Frehley rejoined the band in 1996 and as expected, his reunion triggered a highly successful tour for the band. Performing live for the first time since 1980, the band went on to record another album after their reunion concert went on to become one of the most successful concerts in history. Frehley contributed to the album with his record "Into The Void".

After his "Farewell Tour" with KISS, Frehley went on to resume his equally successful solo career which continues even till now. Unlike young artists, who come to the stage adorning fancy make up and getaways, Frehley(probably due to his age)is a no non-sense artist. Not even schooled in guitar, let alone able to read notes (Shocking right!), he is amazingly one of the greatest guitarist of his generation. No wonder people go crazy for his show.
