San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich’s wife Erin dies at 67 on April 18, 2018, after an extended illness.
The San Antonio Spurs confirms the death of the coach Gregg spouse Erin on Wednesday. The team didn’t explain the reason behind the death but a source reports it “Erin was ill over an extended period.”
In a team statement GM, RC Buford said “We mourn the loss of Erin. She was a strong, intelligent with good sense of humor. She loved us all very much and supports us.”
The Spurs coach and late Erin were married for almost 4 decades and have 2 children and 2 grandsons.
Gregg has been coaching since 1996 and has won 5 NBA titles for his team.
In fact, the entire NBA members are shocked with the death as he never said, anyone, that his wife was in ill health.
