Argentinian player Gonzalo Higuain has set a record for his team Napoli in Serie A, the record that was unbeatable for the span of more than six decades. Higuan scored a hattrick in 20 minutes against Frosinone on Saturday night. Napoli won 4-0 in the match. It was great!
28-year of age had scored 18 league goals last season standing in the fifth place in the league. This time around he scored twice as much and took his team to the second position.
By scoring 36 goals, he managed to beat the record of Gunnar Nordahl, who had scored 35 goals in 1949-50 season for AC Milan.
“I had such an immense desire to beat this record and I have to thank everyone, above all my family, the city, the staff, the club and the team,” said Higuain.
