From Fat to Fab: Once overweight teenager, Catherine Tyldesley is now super-svelte and sexy mom,

Give someone a list for Britain’s Top 50 beauties and you’ll find Catherine Tyldesley in that list. The actress, who is more popular as Eva of Coronation Street, has been a popular figure on this show and amongst fans due to her hot glamorous looks. But the recent mom was not all slim and curvy back then and as she recalls, had to work hard to maintain this figure.

The actress weighed around 95 kilos during her teenage days and was often ridiculed over how fat she was. Well, fast forward a decade and she’s now one of the hottest girls on town. Nonetheless, the actress gives the credit of her weight-loss to Sam Witter. They also ran a website SamCath.com where they talked about healthy lifestyle and diet plans. She has been dedicated to maintaining her shape and is constantly seen posting pictures of her workout in Instagram. There were reports that the two were dating back then. Anyways, it doesn’t matter now that the actress is engaged to boyfriend Tom Pitford.

Tom Pitford is a fitness instructor and also a partner of Tyldesley. Insiders report that the two met at the Hale Country Club, where Pitford works as a fitness instructor. The two apparently started hanging out and now have a baby together. The baby, named Alfie, was born in March 2015 and the new mom was in cloud 9 after giving birth to her first child. She expressed her delight on Twitter, where she has around 332 K followers.

Staying in shape is a challenge for the hot mom but Tyldesley can certainly beat that challenge. There were limited public appearances lately as she was on maternity leave but the actress looked sensational at the Goldsmiths Jewellery Store relaunch party. The Coronation Street star showed off her trim post-baby figure as she looked stunning in her shimmering strapless dress and plenty of sparkly jewels.

Born in Walkden, Greater Manchester, she attended St. George's RC High School and Pendleton College before training at the Birmingham School of Acting. Now at the age of 31, Tyldesley has played the role of Abi Peterson in Emmerdale and has also modelled for the House of Fraser. Tyldesley's television credits include Coronation StreetHolby CityTwo Pints of Lager and a Packet of CrispsSortedFlorence Nightingale and Red Riding. She played the lead role of Iris Moss in the Liverpool-set BBC One drama Lilies and also appeared in the comedy pilot Guantanamo Phil.

She was back in the sets of Coronation Street and received a warm welcome from her fellow castmates. The first person to greet her was Ryan Thomas, who plays her estranged boyfriend Jason Grimshaw.

She said: “I am excited to be back. I have really missed it. The first person to meet me on set was Ryan Thomas and I filmed my first scenes with Ryan. It’s like I have never been away from the street.”

Now back in the show, fans are eagerly waiting to see Eva back on Coronation Street. As for those who are amazed as to how she has managed to remain in such an amazing shape, she gave a little insight as to her diet; Turkey and tomato omelette with black coffee for breakfast, King prawn and scallops stir-fried for lunch and fillet steak with root vegetables for dinner.
