Laure Boulleau, the French national football player who currently plays for French club Paris Saint-Germain of the Division 1 Féminine is dating David Pinto.
Laure prefers keep a low profile however stories about her personal life do not make the headlines like other fellow sports personalities.
Her relationship with David Pinto had garnered some media attention. They started dating back in the year 2009 in Serbia when both of them were selected for Universiades de Belgrade French team. In an interview, both of them expressed themselves. Her boyfriend, Pinto said they hit it off rather quickly and belonging to the same profession raised their compatibility level.
David also said having the same concerns and constraints made it easier for the two to understand each other and he is very pleased to be able to organize football parties at their house. As their profession requires them to travel a lot, Laura showed some hesitation on this. To this, David had replied he is ready to adapt wherever she goes. Oh, indeed it sounds so cute and romantic!!
Boulleau who showcased her football skills on Women’s World Cup 2015 was a part of the France team that reached the semifinals of the 2011 FIFA World Cup, but her team was knocked out by the United States. She was also part of the 2012 French Squad at the London Olympics. Boulleau began playing at age 10 in Moulins, France, a town about two-and-a-half hours northwest of Lyon in the center of the country. Her first professional match occurred for Clairefontaine FC at the age of 17. Boulleau moved to Paris in 2005 when PSG signed her from Clairefontaine FC.
The 28 year old Laure Bolleau was once accused of doping!! Reportedly, even after a 100 days of the Women’s World Cup in Canada, Laure hadn’t cleared three breaches of control with the AFLD (Agency for Fight Against Doping) in less than 18 months. Looks like she wanted to play the World Cup with a heightened spirit!!
At a match held in the Lansdowne Stadium of Ottawa against Mexico, Laure suffered a ligament twist in her right knee. She left the stadium with an ice pack. The air in the stadium got tense. On this, Boulleau said, ‘The doctor isn’t worried, so I’m not worried’. Despite her painful injury, France won by a 5-0. After the victory, cheerful Laura exclaimed, “We did it.”
The 5 feet 3 inches tall football beauty earns $60,000 a year playing for PSG, making her one of the highest paid female soccer players in the world, in addition to her off-the-field income with various sponsors. Off the field, Boulleau has earned several sponsorship deals, including for popular luxury label Dior. Boulleau was also a part of Nike's Live for the Game campaign in France.
