Fox News's Sandra Smith's Family Life is a bliss with husband John Connelly and two Children

Sandra Kaye Smith, commonly known as Sandra Smith, is a journalist and a reporter who works at Fox Network. She has been co-hosting American daytime shows such as Outnumbered. Leaving professional career aside, Sandra Smith's family life with husband John Connely and their two children is going smooth.

 

Sandra Smith's personal life is filled with joy and happiness. She has been married to her husband, John Connelly who graduated from the School of Art Institute in Chicago as a painter, and the duo has two lovely kids!

Sandra Smith, who used to take parts in track and field while studying at Louisiana State University, was working as a sales trader in Chicago where she met her future husband, John.

Sandra expressed to Chicago Tribune that it was only John who didn’t pay any attention to her when she was being introduced. But unfortunately, John had to leave his job to start his own business just two weeks after Sandra joined.

She was asked to take over John’s position at the firm of providing the company’s TV commentary. Apparently, John asked the now-37-year-old reporter on a date; which was followed by another and then it was just countless.

Years later, Illinois born Sandra was offered a job at Bloomberg Television in New York. Since John was in Chicago, they had to go through long distance relationships – more phone calls and less physical meets.

Most of Sandra’s time would pass by at the airports, to and for Chicago to New York. Sandra explains that John never complained about any of this.

After around a year, she joined Fox, which showed signs that she had to settle in New York itself.

However, the distance wasn’t a barrier for the two who were so in love! The couple tied the knot on May 1, 2010, at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago. Their distance relationship lasted a year after their marriage when in 2011, John transferred to New York.

At present, John is the director of product marketing for CME group. In mid-2013, the pair welcomed their first child, a baby girl, Cora Belle Connelly.

Again on January 14, 2015, they were blessed with their second child, a beautiful baby boy who completed their family. They named the child with one of the cutest names – a legacy to his father – Little John! The baby weighed around 10 pounds.

 

The couple definitely makes some time to go skiing with their friends. After all, humans do require some socialization to take their mind off from daily chores.
