When Mariah Carey’s new reality show Mariah’s World was announced, not everyone was happy with the decision. Director Lee Daniels, who has worked with Mariah in three movies (Precious, Tennessee and The Butler) especially believes that the show could easily go wrong.
47-year-old stunning actress plus singer Mariah has been the center of various controversies related to her abuse. Her ex-husband, Tommy Mottola used to abuse her. Mottola got married to her and quickly turned their relationship into a sexually exploitative, controlling and emotionally abusive one.
Lee Daniels, who knows Carey believes that putting her private life out there might not have been a good idea for her.
'I don’t know if it’s a wise idea for her. I was at the gym, I saw it, and I was like, "Oh, Lord. What is she doing?"

Lee, however, does believe that Mariah will take his advice. As the first trailer has already been released, it might be too late to back off now but he might be able to give some valuable advice to her.
