Cari Champion, who is an American journalist and TV personality, has worked as an anchor and reporter for the Tennis Channel and also as the host of ESPN’s First Take. She became an anchor for ESPN’s Flagship Program Sports Center. The sports anchor now has a net worth of $ 750 Thousand. You see, Champion has been working on her career right from her young age and as a result, she is now able to achieve the grater heights.
While studying at the University, she already used to write for the Daily Bruin. The active lady started her career of broadcasting at different television stations. She might have started the career with less salary focusing more to learn the skills to be a reporter and collect more experiences.
With a great passion for working as a reporter, she moved to West Virginia for her first reporting job. After working there, she said-
"I was a one-man-band carrying a camera and a tripod and that was God-awful. But I loved it because I wanted to do it. I always wanted to be a reporter."
Before joining WPTV- TV in Florida in 2002, she has worked as a reporter at the Orange County Newschannel in Santa Ana, California.
Facing ups and downs in the career, she was fired while working in WGCL-TV in Atlanta as a news anchor for emitting a bad language on air. Though she was rehired in 2008, she left the job within a short period of time for another broadcasting job in Florida. Life is not always as cool as taking walk in a park, ppeople need to go through fire and rain to achieve goals and get refined at their tasks, and Champion is one of those examples.
At Florida, she covered the human interest stories and destructive hurricanes in the state. And after covering the tennis players like Serena Williams and Venus, her interest towards covering the news of tennis increased. She auditioned for a tennis news channel and got selected along with three ladies among 50 candidates. Then, she started working as a courtside reporter and anchored the Court Report news segment of the channel.
Currently, Champion is residing in Connecticut which is the second state having highest density of millionaires households in the USA. Champion had the annual salary of $1 million in 2015. Her income level seemed to be increasing along with the promotions at her work and experience.
Because of a great focus and devotion towards her work, she was hired for ESPN2’s live debate show First Take. Later she made her journalistic debut for ESPN on November 4, 2014. And her promotions leaded her up as an anchor on SportsCenter in June 2015.
Her salary and net worth is increasing along with her job promotions. And as she is much busy in her career, she is not heard of dating boyfriend. Currently, 41-years-old Champion is still single and is not married yet but why?? She is hot and has a kickass career and independent. Guys must have poured themselves upon her, it's just that she might not have found her love yet. We hope she finds her perfect husband as soon as possible.
She stands tall at the height of 5 feet 7 inches on high heels.
