English Soccer player Calum Chambers, age 20, being considered for transfer with Everton

Arsenal defender Calum Chambers, who has not been getting any game time for the past three months, has been showing his discontent with the club. Sources now claim that Calum is now open to transfer this coming January’s transfer window. He might be looking to Everton as his new club, come 2016.

Everton manager, who has been searching for a replacement for his ageing defender Baines, might have found just what he might be looking for in Claum. The Everton team began showing interest in the young defender as he failed to feature in less than half the Arsenal fixtures this season.

Arsenal, who has been showing preference for Hector over Calum in most of their league games, a scenario that was different last season, might be why Calum is now looking to other teams for game time. The Everton team, who are almost sure to lose their star defender Jon Stones, who was held back by the team earlier even after being offered a £30 million pound deal, are looking at Calum as a potential replacement.

However, sources claim that Calum is not only open to the Everton move, he is also ready to play for any other team in the league where he will be getting game time. Other clubs that have shown significant interest in Calum, now that the transfer window is just ten days to go, are Chelsea, Stoke City, Southampton and Atletico Madrid.

Calum, unlike his teammates at Arsenal who have been injury prone throughout the past few season, remains one of few players yet to face injury. Calum, who is just 20 years of age, has said he is young and wants to explore as many options as he can to play rather than being benched.

Due to his recent miss in games, he has lost his place in the current England team. He wants to do all he can to get back into the squad before the Euro 2016 in France.

Calum, unlike his teammates at Arsenal who are known to have model girlfriends, has yet to meet his match. Calum has stated that he is not ready and does not have the time to enter into a relationship yet. He has also said that being just twenty, he feels he has got enough time to find a girlfriend and does not need to rush into anything.

As a teenager, he was known to have dated a number of girls. He was voted the best looking player on the under 19 England squad for two consecutive years.

Calum is a much followed personality on social media and boasts of more than 1.5 million followers in total. He is most followed on Instagram and Twitter.
