Eminem’s Grammy-winning song ‘Loose Yourself’ which was used in the movie ‘8 Mile’ was somewhat stolen by New Zealand’s National Party on one of their ads. The track on their ad sounded almost similar to the Eminem’s song.
The song was used without permission on an election ad in the year 2014. However, the video is now deleted from the National Party’s youtube channel.
More about the case
New Zealand’s High Court finalized their decision earlier, last Wednesday (October 25) ordering to pay $415,000 to Eminem’s publishing company.
