Canadian actress, Emily Hampshire is best known for her portrayal as Angelina in the 1998 romantic comedy Boy Meets Girl.

Actress Emily has been married to her longtime boyfriend, Matthew Smith since 2006. Her husband is a former soccer player and currently has been working as agent-in-training at William Morris talent agency. The couple has been together for over a decade but they do not have any children yet.

There have been rumors that because of medical conditions, the couple has not been able to conceive a child. Few years back, they were spotted at Cedars- Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. However, there is no news about the couple expecting their child.

The 36-year-old actress has been balancing her personal as well as professional life very well. She has been professionally active in the Canadian movie and television industry since 1996. Though she is widely known for her roles in the movies as Boy Meets Girl and Snow Cake, she has starred in numerous movies and TV shows.

Since 2014, she has been starring in the science fiction series 12 Monkeys in the role of Jennifer Goines and has also been playing the main role on CBC Television’s Schitt’s Creek as Stevie Budd. She received a Golden Maple Leaf award for her roles on both the shows in 2015.

Hampshire would soon be seen starring in Xavier Dolan’s independent movie The Death and Life of John F. Donovan along with Jessica Chastain, Kathy Bates and Susan Sarandon.
