Compressed Natural Gas (CNG ), is mostly the composed of methane gas, which is below 1% of the volume it contains at a standard atmospheric pressure which remains clear, non-corrosive, odorless also can be used as a greener, cheaper and more efficient replacement for the diesel and petrol.
As supply through the pipeline system, it also contains hydrocarbons like propane and ethane other different gases like nitrogen, carbon dioxide, Sulphur compounds, helium, and water vapor. Natural gas is lighter than air thus will basically disappear in the case of a leak, which is taking as a significant safety benefit over LPG or gasoline
While CNG contacts the combustion chamber, it mixes with air, is ignited through a spark and energy from the detonation moves the vehicle.
While some of the vehicles use natural gas, most vehicles use the gaseous form compressed to 3,000. Almost all combustion engine can be switched to run a natural gas, also many manufacturers provide a hybrid version, which can turn into gasoline and CNG without changing in functionality.
