CeeLo Green returns to The Voice for the tenth season finale.

American singer CeeLo Green came back to the finale of The Voice. He had previously served as one of the coaches on the show in Season 1, 2, 3 and 5. He also appeared in Season 8 as a guest mentor for the coach Blake Shelton.

41-year-old Green had been convicted for felony drug case in 2014. As a result, he had to leave the show. Under the order of the judge, he had to serve 45 days of community service, 3 years’ probation, and 52 alcohol and drug counseling sessions. Because Green was cooperative his sentence was reduced and he also managed to complete the required hour for his community service.

This time, Green returned in the finale performing a duet of 2006 hit Crazy with Team Pharrell Williams contestant Hannah Huston, according to US Weekly. Although Alisan Porter from Team Christina Aguilera took home the win, the duet was remarkable.

But CeeLo was not the only one who performed in the finale. In fact, Jennifer Nettled, Alison Krauss, and Joe Walsh performed with Alisan Porter, Adam Wakefield, and Laith Al-Saadi respectively.

Even though Green’s charge have been lifted, it is highly unlikely that he will appear in Season 11 as according to several reports, next season’s coaches will include Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys, along with Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. Shelton and Levine have been present in all seasons of The Voice since the show started in 2011.
