Stars having a great time at both singing and acting is not a new thing in Hollywood. In fact, given the history of Hollywood, it is a pretty great combination. Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Leighton Meester, Jennifer Lopez, these are pretty big names in Hollywood and what do they have in common? They’re all singers and actresses! And a new addition to the songstress-cum-actress list is the 18-year-old Kerris Lila Dorsey.

Kerris Dorsey started her singing career by performing a cover of Lenka’s song in the film “Moneyball”. She has performed Best Worst Day Ever with Justine Dorsey. She runs a YouTube channel under her name that mainly has videos of her making music covers. Her music career may be budding at a slow pace but she surely does have a growing acting career. In 2012, Dorsey has guest starred on the Disney Channel series Shake it Up. She has appeared in the films Walk the Line and Just Like Heaven. She had a supporting role in the American Girl film, McKenna Shoots For the Stars. Dorsey has also guest starred as Molly in Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23, Sons of Anarchy, Disney Channel Original Movie Girl vs. Monster, and crime drama series Ray Donovan.

Given the girl’s star career at this young age, and the way she’s juggling with both her acting and singing career, Dorsey might be just as successful as Jennifer Lopez. Of course, we know how JLO has successfully managed both her acting as well as singing career. JLo has had a very successful career even after 25 years of her kickass career!
