Benicio del Toro to play Cuban mafia in Dicaprio's 'The Corporation.'

Benicio Del Toro will be playing a Cuban mafia kingpin in the movie which actor Leonardo DiCaprio and Paramount Pictures have gained the production rights for “The Corporation”.

It seems DiCaprio be the luckiest one because there was a biding war in Hollywood to acquire the rights for T.J. English’s upcoming book “The Corporation: An Epic Story of the Cuba American Underworld,” Appian Way production company, owned by DiCaprio, and Paramount Pictures won.

With this win, they had got that right for the production of the picture. Benicio will be playing the lead role of Jose Miguel Battle Sr.

The film would be following a Battle’s story, who supplied as key functioning for Cuban leader Fulgencio Batista, bringing him his cut from the gambling casinos when the mafia ran Cuba

Paramount is considered be the perfect studio to take on this film since it’s the same studio that produced “The Godfather,” and they are going to give the same feel of this movie to The Corporation.
