Becky Anderson is an experienced British journalist who has been working for CNN International and Connect the World with Becky Anderson.
Becky Anderson was born on November 15, 1967, in Manchester, United Kingdom. Becky completed her Bachelors (Hons) in Economics from Sussex University in the UK. She joined Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University in 1990 to gain a masters degree in Mass Communication in 19992.
In 2012, her name was added to Arizona State University’s Hall of Fame.
She started her career as a print reporter in abundant business publications after receiving her Masters Degree. Later, she returned back to her home country and worked for EBN and CNBC Europe as a reporter. She has had journalism experiences with reputed companies such as Bloomberg, UK's Independent Television Network.
Between 2002 to 2005, Becky was the presenter for CNN’s golf program named “Living Golf” and a sailing show, “Inside Sailing”.
In 2014, the multi-talented journalist was repositioned from her hometown London to the Asian money making city of Abu Dhabi. Since then, she started hosting for CNN Middle East and also started with CNN International’s flagship news program ‘Connect The World’ with Becky Anderson in UAE. She believes the being relocated to Abu Dhabi will provide the team to get profound knowledge and exposure.
At present, she is also known to be the Managing Editor for CNN Abu Dhabi.
She has been in the limelight for covering the outraging war in Syria, ongoing unrest of Arab Spring and Isreal- Palestine peace progression.
