Finally! We are going to meet Miranda Sings’ mother and uncle. Angela Kinsey and Steve Little are going to appear alongside Coolen Evans in the Netflix comedy-drama Haters Back Off.

Angela is going to play the role of Miranda’s mother, Bethany and Steve will play role of Angela’s uncle Jim who have been mentioned by Miranda numerous times but have never actually appeared, much like the titular mother in How I met your mother series.

This 44-year-old actress was cast as Miranda’s mother earlier this month and her appearance has been greatly anticipated by many. Known for her remarkable role as Angela Martin on the TV series The Office.

The series Haters Back off is based on the YouTuber Coolen Ballinger-Evans who rose to her fame with her internet persona Miranda Sings making a parody of egotistical, talentless, fame-hungry singers.

According to Variety- “Haters Back Off” delves into the oddball family life of Miranda Sings, an incredibly confident, totally untalented star on the rise who continues to fail upward by the power of her belief that she was born famous — it’s just no one knows it yet.

This Netflix series marks the first ever scripted streaming for any YouTube personality.

Coolen Evans has more than 5.6 million subscribers in her YouTube channel. This YouTube sensation has over 1.5 million views per video which leads to total views up to 800 million subscribers.

Deadline Hollywood has posted on their twitter confirming the news of them signing for the role.
