American Movie actor Troy Garity still happy with wife Simone Bent 8 years after their wedding

Love never felt so good for Troy Garity and Simone Bent.

Actor Garity, who is also actress Jane Fonda’s son, might have had an on-screen romance with the “Greek God” Lee Pace in the Golden Globe winning Miniseries “Soldier’s Girl” but off-screen, his heart beats for somebody else.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, the handsome and charming Troy Garity is happily hooked on to his wife, actress Simone Bent.

The marriage between these two is among the increasing number of interracial weddings in USA. The actor duo, who got married eight years ago are still very much happy and enjoying the marital bliss like a newly married couple.

The Barbershop star, Garity who tied knot with Bent in August, 2007 is still very much satisfied with his wife’s company. Their love is strong as ever.

The son of the political activists and Academy award winner Jane Fonda may not be as popular and successful as his mother but he sure has the most successful married life.

Keeping a steady relationship in Hollywood is one hell of a job. One who has had a bitter-sweet taste of the American movie industry knows what as struggle it is to maintain a perfect married life. It is hard to imagine a relationship without any trouble as we read thousands of gossips and news about celebrities either splitting or divorcing. Leaving one and dating another is not a new thing there but there are people like Garity and Bent who believe in spending their lives with their one and only.

For this, this amazing couple deserves a round of applause from all of us. It is interesting to see that their relationship is going strong as ever after almost a decade of their marriage.

This down-to-the-earth actor stays away from all the media hustle and bustle and maintains a quiet life with his lovely wife. But there are so many interesting facts about him that would be fun to dig out (wink).

Troy Garity’s full name is Troy O'Donovan Hayden. He was born in Los Angeles, California, to as we all know, actress/activist Jane Fonda and activist/politician Tom Hayden. He grew up in Santa Monica.

He was named after the Vietnamese resistance leader Nguyen Van Troi and the 19th-century Irish Fenian Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa. He got his surname from his paternal grandmother.

He began his acting career as a child and is best known for his role as Isaac Rosenberg in the Barbershop films. He received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor – Miniseries or Television Film for his role as Barry Winchell in the television movie Soldier's Girl.  He has appeared in several movies as well.

He portrayed his father, activist Tom Hayden, a member of the Chicago Seven, in the 2000 Abbie Hoffman biopic Steal This Movie.

Garity, who has been inspired by his parent's activism, founded the Peace Process Network, a worldwide gang violence prevention coalition inspired by his activists parents. He was photographed in a communist themed t-shirt outside a coffee lounge last year. His mother Jane Fonda faced worldwide criticism in 1972 when she was pictured wearing a helmet and posing on an ant-aircraft gun during her trip to the war-torn Vietnam. If the picture was taken today then there's no doubt that Twitter and Instagram would have crashed within minutes. She was called ‘traitor’ by many and the picture is still taken as the symbol of an insult to the USA.

Once, at the age of 16, Garity quit school and ran away in order to follow a circus performer he had a crush on around the country. He was also named one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People.

We hope that the blissfully married actor’s marriage stays strong and inspires other Hollywood couples to follow in their footsteps.
