Later Brees signed a new contract with Chargers for $8,000,000 and his salary was $8,078,000. Brees left Chargers and signed a six years contract with New Orleans Saints for $60 million. The following, Brees was paid the salary of $1,900,000, workout bonus of $2,500,000 and signing bonus $1,600,000.
