Alison and Jim engaged in the year 2006 but soon after a year, due to their personal issues, the couple got separated. The couple got separated in the year 2007.

After a very few time of being separated from the fiancé Jim, Alison started dating his fellow sound assistant Adam Huckett. Alison and Adam dated for few years and thus got engaged in the year 2008. Right after getting engaged, the couple was blessed with a baby girl. Alison gave birth to their first child, baby girl, Daisy Mae Huckett on February 11, 2009.

Even though Alison and Adam got engaged, the couple was unable to get married. Before they could think about the marriage, their relationship came to the end in the year 2012. Since then Alison King is living a single strong woman with her daughter.
