Actress Alison Sweeney and husband David, married since 2002, thinking of more children???

When Alison Sweeney aged 38 announced her departure from the much loved show ‘Days of Our Lives’, millions of hearts were broken. Sweeney portrayed the role of Samantha ‘Sami’ Brady in the American daytime soap opera broadcast on the NBC television network. It is one of the longest-running scripted television programs in the world which has been aired every weekday since November 8, 1965.Sweener played Sami from January 22, 1993, to October 30, 2014, almost 21 years.hub

The actress and the television presenter bid farewell to the show to spend more time with her family and to focus on her next show “The Biggest Loser” which she has been hosting since 2007. She made the announcement on Ellen Degeneres Show last year. After the announcement of her departure, several speculations were made. It was said that the main reason behind Sweeney leaving was that she was going to expand her family.

Sweeney was said to be planning to conceive her third child with her husband David Sanov. She is married to Sanov since 2002 and their relationship is still going strong. Many sources revealed that the Sweeney, who plays Sami on-screen was thinking of bearing more children. She already has two adorable angels, Benjamin 9 and Megan 5.

Despite portraying the famous role of Sami who is known for her failed relationships with men, her children and her manipulative trouble-making ways, Sweeney is just the opposite in her real life. While Sami has been described as vindictive and the girl "you love to hate", Sweeney is rather lovable and family oriented.

The diet conscious beauty posted a heartfelt farewell to her fans on Facebook.

"We've been through a lot together, haven't we?" she wrote. "It was quite literally a dream come true for me … I'm proud of who I've become as a result of my 21 years in Salem."

Talking to PEOPL E, she said, "It was hard to keep it together," of shooting her farewell scene. "My kids [Benjamin, 9, and Megan, 5] were there, so I feel like that helped me avoid the ugly cry. But I totally had tears streaming down my face."

"I'm still going to be around okay?! So this isn't really goodbye. At least it isn't goodbye for me. This is just my opportunity to say a great big, sincere, tearful, THANK YOU. For everything. Every cheer, every tear, every tweet, post and letter. Thank you for investing in me and my character."

Sweeney might have left the show for whatever reason but she will always be close to her fans as she will continue her work in “The Biggest Loser” and she is all set to appear in ABC’s hit TV show General Hospital.

The celebrated actress will surely retain the height of her success as she has been nominated for the first time for the Emmy awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in Drama Series for “Days of Our Lives”. Her fans are pretty excited about it and wished her best wishes on Twitter but she is not active in Instagram.
