Actor Jim Carrey has a very beautiful career and is one of the successful stars who started his career from literally nothing, but he is pretty unlucky in regards to his personal life. After his girlfriend committed suicide Jim has been in all sorts of legal trouble.
According to Jim, his girlfriend was addicted to Cocaine and drugs which got her to the point of self-destruction but a legal battle is heating up between actor Jim Carrey and his late 30-year-old girlfriend Cathriona White's ex-husband and mother.
The things have recently caught public attention once again after a lawsuit was filed by each side. According to Carrey, Mark Burton and Brigid Sweetman are suing him for wrongful death, were countersued by the actor showing the family of his dead girlfriend trying to get out a settlement money from Jim Carrey.
Yesterday, on 30th September 2017, the Los Angeles Superior Court countersuit outed a statement which reads:
“A cottage industry that both feeds upon and exploits the public vulnerability of those who have achieved Hollywood notoriety is firmly planted, Hollywood stars are caught in the Hobson’s choice of publicly fighting these false claims or confidentially settling the potential litigation for millions of dollars in order to save them from public embarrassment, ridicule, and pile-on litigation.”
In return to this, Burton and Sweetman have strongly advocated that Carrey provided her with the drugs using a false name and never informed the victims family in regards to her mental conditions despite she had attempted to kill herself before as well.

The suicide according to the counter suers addressed that she died due to the use of drug cocktails which included some of her own and some stolen from Jim's home, they further brought the instance of Cathriona's past suicide attempts. Further, they brought in many of her suicide note's instances and how she mentioned that she was not for this world.
Jim seems to be in trouble once more but we do hope he is innocent but if in any case, is he using the tools to mislead the jurisdiction, he should be punished just as any other one in The states should be. Stay tuned for more on this matter.
