ABC's Liz Cho and boyfriend Josh Elliot married in an intimate wedding

The former ABC NewsOne correspondent, Liz Cho and her beloved fiancé, Josh Elliot tied the knot a month ago in a pretty little, intimate wedding ceremony.

Liz, who is a local news anchor at WABC-TV in New York City, married her fiancé, who is TV journalist for NBC Sports and NBC News. The two anchors exchanged their wedding vows in lavish yet simple wedding. The couple, who love to be more private about their personal matters, opted for a simple and intimate wedding. They said “I Do” in a ceremony in Montecito, California where both the bride’s and groom’s family and friends were present.

Cho and Elliot both aged 44, shared a romantic kiss in front of 70 close friends and family members in the garden of Villa Sevillano private estate. The garden had a mind blowing view of Pacific Ocean in the background, which made the wedding day even more special for the newlyweds.

Beautiful Cho looked absolutely stunning in a rose petal-hued Ramona Kaveza silk gown while the groom stole the show in a blue suit by Zegna. The wedding, though intimate and closed one, seemed quite a grand affair as everybody were looking great and enjoying themselves on the big day.

Talking exclusively to the PEOPLE, the husband of the bride said: "It's going to be a great beautiful weekend in a great beautiful, place that means everything to us, with people that are just the fabric of our lives."

"At first we were really overwhelmed by the whole notion of the wedding," Elliott said. The co-anchor of ESPN’s SportsCenter, who lost his mother just three weeks before their wedding, added: "You don't really care about what flavor taco to have at the rehearsal dinner. But then we realized it's a great chance to cherish time with friends and family."

While adding more to her husband’s statement, Cho said: "His mom would have said there is no way you're canceling this on my account."

As a loyal and loving daughter-in-law, Cho honored her deceased mother-in-law by placing an empty chair at the wedding and the reception that followed to honor her deceased mother in law.

Cho stated: "We placed an empty chair at the ceremony and at the reception to make sure that she's with us throughout."

During the reception, the bride donned a white Roberto Cavalli gown.

Cho, who makes a handsome amount of salary from her job as an anchor, was previously married to Evan Gottlieb, with whom she has a daughter named Louisa Simone Gottlieb. The host who was named one of the “50 Most Beautiful People” in 2003 by People magazine, filed for a divorce with her former husband in 2012. Elliot was hitched to Priya Narang and the ex-couple has a daughter, Sarina. They later divorced.

After her divorce, Cho, who belongs to Korean-Jewish ethnicity, started dating Elliot and the couple got engaged in August 2014. Both their daughters from their first marriage were maids of honor on the auspicious occasion.

Numerous fans and followers of the couple congratulated them on their nuptial via Twitter.
