Strutting on the runway isn’t the only thing that excites the sultry supermodel Adriana Lima, a good Quentin Tarantino film does the job quite well. While most of us believe that being Victoria’s secret Angel is all a model wants to achieve, this Victoria’s Secret angel completely surprised us when she revealed her big dream with The New York Post’s Page Six,
'My dream role is with Quentin Tarantino. Fingers crossed. I haven't had a chance to tell him that directly.’
She expressed more of her passion for acting when at the Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York City. "I'm just waiting for someone to see me. I'm like, 'Hello, I'm here.' "
Apparently this is not the first time, Adriana Lima has shown interest in acting. She starred in 2001 movie The Follow and in a multiple TV series How I Met Your Mother, The Crazy Ones, and Ugly Betty. This time, it’s not just wanting to work with Quentin Tarantino. In fact, the 35-year-old supermodel is really focusing on establishing herself as an actress.
Looks like Lima has a good shot at working in a Tarantino film as a casting advert for his next project was recently out which asked for "Caucasian, non-union females, ages 18-35" to play prostitutes in a western.
However, this does not mean Lima’s kissing goodbye to her uber-successful modelling career.
"My plan is to be here as long as gravity lets me," speaks Adriana of her modelling career which started when she was just 15. The Portuguese femme fatale, who kick-started her modelling career by winning Ford’s modelling competition, has walked the ramp for various big name designers like Emilio Pucci, Fendi, Giles Deacon, Baby Phat, Giorgio Armani, Balmain, Vera Wang, Valentino, Miu Miu, Givenchy, Versace, Jason Wu, Marc Jacobs, Christian Dior, Paco Rabanne, Emporio Armani, BCBG, Bulgari, Victoria's Secret, Prada, Louis Vuitton, John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Ralph Lauren, Escada, and many more. She has graced many high-end fashion editorials like Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, GQ, Arena, Vogue, Esquire and French Revue des Modes.
The exotic looking lingerie model, who is loved for her work as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, has been the spokesperson for brands like Maybelline, Super Bowl, Kia Motors, Guess?, Doritos, Donna Karan, Vogue Eyewear, Marc Jacob’s Decadence and many more. Moreover, her work for Victoria's Secret is so appreciated that she has even made it to the Madame Tussauds New York.
